ABOUT ME

Education

I am a Geoscience Student, currently in my Senior Year of study at Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania. I am working towards the completion of my BS: Geography, with concentrations in Environmental Science, and Mapping Technology. I am also working towards completing a minor in Geology.

Experience

I have worked in many jobs and fields throughout my career beginning with manufacturing in a shop building fishing lures. In this job I had the opportunity to use thermoplastic injection molding machines to manufacture plastic parts for assembly into fishing lures.

My career after graduation from high school took me in a much different direction. In 2004 I joined the US Army as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. I was trained in many different jobs and tasks during my time in the army from 2004-2011. I also learned many invaluable leadership skills supervising other soldiers.

After the Army, I returned home to Pennsylvania and spent some time working in the Natural Gas Industry. From 2011 to 2013 I worked as a security guard, and a security supervisor on Shell Appalachia well sites in Tioga, Bradford, and Lycoming Counties in North Central PA.

Community Service

I am also a part of many organizations that give back to the community. I am a Lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, where I have held the following positions: 2011-2013 Post 6611 Adjutant, 2013 to 2016 Post 6611 Commander, 2014-2015 District 15 Jr. Vice Commander, 2015-2016 Sr. Vice Commander, 2015-2016 National Aide-de-Camp, 2015 - present Department of PA Student Veterans Chairman, 2016 - present District 15 Commander and Post 6611 Sr. Vice Commander . I am also a member of the American Legion Post 963 in Ulysses, PA and the Loyal Order of the Moose, in Galeton, PA. On campus, I was the founding President of the Mansfield University Student Veterans Organization which was founded in 2014. I am currently the Treasurer of the organization, and we just became an official Student Veterans of America chapter.
